The BOLD Team does Spring Cohort Selection
At the beginning of March, the BOLD team set out to select our second cohort of BOLD women. Starting with Rutgers University-Newark, we selected an amazing cohort of community college transfers. Next came Smith College and Middlebury College where we really put in a lot of thought and time into selecting two cohorts of five women. We ended our selection with California State University – Fullerton at the beginning of May and are in the process of selecting ten community college transfers.
Some highlights from the selection process:
- Millie coming through with a record breaking 65 applicants!
- The entire team being able to attend every selection.
- Elaine took a self-designed walking tour of Fullerton.
- We ate A LOT of bagels and sandwiches along the way.
We’re looking forward to our 30 new BOLD women and can’t wait to see all the ways that they held BOLD grow and progress!
